What Is QShare?
QShare, an initiative of the Cream City Foundation,
is an opportunity for business owners and
professionals to network and become more involved in
philanthropy with others who support southeastern
Wisconsin’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender
(LGBT) community.
How Does QShare Work?
- QShare members commit to donating a minimum of
$25 a month for one year—$300 in total (100% fo all fees is tax-deductible).
- Three-quarters of the contribution amount is designated
as QShare funds to be distributed annually to an LGBT
organization or program selected by active members (and
ratified by Cream City Foundation’s Board of Directors).
- The last quarter directly supports the administration of
QShare, which includes creating a calendar of social,
networking, and educational events for the members
—such as mixers, speed networking sessions, mini-forums
on LGBT issues and emerging programs, etc.
